Refresh Wellness App - UX/UI Design

Refresh is welcoming students to join our design team by participating in our UX/UI project. The project involves developing new UI/UX experiences and improving the existing UIs. Working as a UX Design Intern you will have the opportunity to drive outstanding user experience on our web and mobile products. If you've ever wanted a chance to make a strong impact in a market leading startup company from a design perspective this opportunity is for you. The interns will be working with our design lead and will receive supervision throughout this project. This project also involves participating in group meetings which will provide a great opportunity for the student to share their ideas and receive feedback from the team. Each phase of this project will focus on different journey maps and wireframes such as: Organizational Account Research Account Admin Dashboard Peer Supporter Account What you will do: Work closely with design leads to create compelling interactive experiences Learn the end-to-end process of project delivery and the associated design tools involved Perform user research and develop information architecture, user goals, journey maps, and design wireframes and visual interfaces Collaborate with developers to ensure pixel perfect execution across all project deliverables Work with the strategy team to gain insights into clients' business and project objectives Who we look for: We encourage all students to apply if they are interested in the project Assets: Knowledge of user-centered design methodologies Attention to detail and a keen eye for typography and visual hierarchy Clear and effective communication skills in articulating design concepts and rationales A love for intuitive, easy-to-understand user-experience An eagerness to learn new tools such as Adoble XD (training provided) Positive attitude with a desire to grow within a collaborative, inspiring teamwork environment We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity. Refresh Wellness App - Alpha/Beta Testing

Refresh is welcoming students for the position of Alpha/Beta Testers. PROJECT SCOPE The goal of this project is to carry out user experience testing beta testing) of the RWA platform. We have established a strategy for testing and will communicate the process to our interns. This project has both technical and marketing beta testing aspects built into it. KEY PROJECT ACTIVITIES: Perform testing on the RWA app for bugs, missing features, general user satisfaction, etc. Research existing mental wellness apps to propose competitive yet realistic solutions Report back any issues, bugs and proposed solutions in a detailed manner for the development team Assist us in delivering a polished, highly functional end product for our users IDEAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Students with an eye for detail, familiarity with using various apps, and outstanding time management skills would be the ideal candidates for this project. Friend Network Development for Mobile App

Refresh Wellness is a platform being developed by Refresh Inc. This mental wellness application will offer a variety of feature and functions for both the general public as well as organizations to track moods, insights, and overall mental wellbeing. Current features built into Refresh Wellness include a mood log and journal, insights, online mental wellness resources, a directory of North American community supports, and more. With time, Refresh Wellness intends to add a social dimension to our community, the first step of which is creating a Friend Network that will allow users to add other users as friends and share their favourite resources. The application is lacking any kind of social aspect - a function that many of our stakeholders and community partners are eagerly requesting. Therefore we are searching for new team members to support the development of this function. Students will work alongside our UI/UX team, product manager, and Development team to create and implement a working prototype of the Friends Network feature that can be deployed to our app in the next large public update.
