- Present the petition to the House of Commons and advocate for policy changes.
Key Activities:

- Promotion and Outreach
- Signature Collection
- Submission and Follow-Up
To achieve a successful paper petition to the House of Commons, conduct a thorough analysis of existing petitions related to language access to identify gaps or areas of improvement. Create the petition on the House of Commons paper petitions platform, ensuring it meets all necessary standards. Monitor the progress of the petition, track the number of signatures collected, and provide regular updates to supporters and stakeholders. Develop a marketing and communication plan to promote the petition through social media, email campaigns, and community outreach. Create a landing page on the organization's website to provide information about the petition and encourage visitors to sign it. Continuously monitor and encourage signature collection through various outreach efforts. Once the signature collection period is complete, submit the petition to the House of Commons and follow up with Members of Parliament and relevant government bodies to advocate for the petition's recommendations. Additionally, identify and engage key stakeholders, including community leaders, advocacy groups, and policymakers, to gather support and endorsements for the petition.
