• Number of students required to work in teams: 9 students.

Refresh is welcoming students to join our R&D team by taking on projects with a focus on AL/ML and and application development in mental health. The whole project will be defined in consecutive phases, where the result obtained from each phase will set the direction for the future phases. Reporting to the Research Lead at Refresh, the interns will be part of a team that is working on different aspects of the project simultaneously.

(Customer Journey Map Team)

This team will be converting our selected models into an outstanding user experience on our web and mobile products. This will include creating user journey maps and developing relative UX/UIs using XD.

(Data visualization Team)

This team will be working on data design which is outcome-driven and deeply rooted in research. We are welcoming the student who can create engaging designs which enables our users to connect with, engage with and reflect upon it.

The project may include, but is not limited to:

• Overseeing complex data collection, manipulation, and data storage.
• Planning and performing the outlines and looking after data retrieval (eg, data scraping) and analysis (eg, big data analysis) using existing tools and methods.
• Responsible for complex tasks in relation to data retrieval and analysis.
• Working with senior level in the design and execution of empirical tests. Supports the project/study by surveying literature and using existing tools to generate data.
• Conducting literature reviews and contributing to the development of research projects.
• Writing reports and assisting with writing grant applications in terms of conceptualization and articulation.

• Providing effective feedback and the chance for the students to reflect and be challenged
• Being accessible to the students through online meetings
• Respond in a timely manner to the written work submitted by the interns with constructive suggestions for improvement
