This program offers entry-level and intermediate-level job seekers the opportunity to gain real-world, project-based experience in the Digital and Social Media Marketing field.


Over a 4 week period, job seekers will work in teams of 2–3 to complete remote, employer-hosted projects requiring 40 hours of effort. Job seekers will be matched with U.S.-based employers sourced by Riipen and supported throughout the experience with training, onboarding, and milestone check-ins.

Job seekers will engage in work-integrated learning (WIL) projects that align with one of the following tracks:

  1. Digital Marketing
  2. Social Media Marketing


Each project will provide participants with an opportunity to:

  • Apply technical and soft skills in real-world environments
  • Work collaboratively in small teams (2–3 job seekers)
  • Gain experience in remote, professional team settings
  • Complete a scoped project within 40 hours across 4 weeks
  • Receive employer feedback and mentorship

Requirements

Full-Funnel Digital Marketing Campaign: Support in the development of a campaign covering awareness → consideration → conversion for a product or service.


Multi-Platform Social Media Strategy: Build a 3-month strategy for a brand using 3+ platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn).


Google Ads Campaign with Conversion Tracking: Create a Google Search or Display Ad campaign and set up conversion tracking.


Social Media Audit & Recommendations: Analyze a real or fictional company’s social presence and deliver a full audit.


Influencer Campaign ROI Analysis: Analyze the success of an influencer campaign using mock or real data.


Content Repurposing Strategy: Take a long-form asset (webinar, blog, video) and turn it into 5–10 pieces for social, email, and paid ads.


Email Marketing Funnel with Segmentation: Design an automated email sequence based on user behavior or demographics


Social Listening & Brand Sentiment Report: Use tools (like Brand24, Sprout Social, or Talkwalker demo) to analyze online sentiment.
